Man wanted on drug charges in Alle-Kiski Valley accused of Arizona murder

A man with Alle-Kiski Valley ties who has drug charges pending against him in Allegheny Township is accused of shooting a man to death in Arizona.

The Arizona Daily Star reported that Cam-Ron Broadway, 35, is charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Tucson in March.

He remained in the Pima County Adult Detention Center on Friday, according to Pima County Adult Detention Center records.

Tuscon police said Benjamin Barnett, 31, was found in a Tucson alley with gunshot wounds on March 3 and died later at an area hospital.

Tuscon’s KOLD-TV reported that Broadway was being held in Pima County on drug and theft charges when authorities charged him March 21 with first-degree murder.

Broadway is wanted in connection with felony drug charges in Allegheny Township.

According to court records, Broadway has served time on drug and gun charges in connection with incidents in New Kensington, Arnold and Pittsburgh.
