A scratch-off lottery ticket worth $3 million was sold at a Kittanning gas station.

The winning $3,000,000 Diamond Dazzler ticket was sold at the Sheetz at 100 Walnut St. The gas station will receive $10,000 for selling the winning ticket.

$3,000,000 Diamond Dazzler is a $30 game that offers five top prizes of $3 million, a news release from the Pennsylvania Lottery said. The chances of winning $3 million are 1 in 1.2 million.

It is the first $3 million prize awarded since the game launched in Pennsylvania on May 14, according to Ewa Dworakowski, Lottery spokeswoman.

Sheetz spokesman Nick Ruffner said the ticket continues a streak of good luck for Sheetz customers who won over $124 million in lottery cash prizes last year.

“Regular customers become just like family for our store teams and I know our Kittanning team joins me in congratulating the winner,” Ruffner said.

Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date posted at palottery.com, according to the Lottery. The winner should immediately sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 717-702-8146 and file a claim at the nearest Lottery office, the release said.
