A horror film that is shooting a scene in Leechburg and featuring singer Mia Zanotti is seeking extras to play bar patrons.

The scene is slated to be shot sometime in April.

The website for the movie, “Occurrence at Mills Creek,” describes the film’s premise as: “Cassandra awakens to a nightmare, as her pleas to be seen and heard by her sister Clara are taken as supernatural occurrences.”

The film needs extras for scenes to be shot in Leechburg — specifically young men and women ages 21 to 35.

A Facebook post by the director Don Swanson stated: “If one possesses the ability and experience of sitting and drinking at a bar and is interested in the role, email dswanson@sprucefilms.com with ‘BAR’ in the subject title.“

Potential extras should include their name, age, phone number, any relevant bar patron experience, and two photos in the email. These are unpaid roles, but credit will be given, according to Swanson’s post.

Zanotti, of Hyde Park, reached nationwide fame singing when she finished 10th in a recent season of the NBC singing contest “The Voice.” She performed under the stage name Mia Z.
