• Santa Claus will drive around the township with Sarver Volunteer Fire Department beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 19. Stops scheduled include Deer Path, Garden Way, Buffalo Trails, Highpoint/Skyview Drive, Woodberry, Primrose Drive in the Grandview Plan and Twin Oaks.
East Deer
• Santa will ride through the township with the firemen from 9 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Dec. 18. Schedule: 9 a.m., Juniors, Freeport Road; 9:20 a.m., Upper Marion Street; 9:40 a.m., Lower Marion Street; 10 a.m., Fire Pro and Freeport Road; 10:20 a.m., Murray Hill Estates, Old Murray Hill and Yost Drive; 10:40 a.m., Meadow Street; 11 a.m., Front Street; 11:20 a.m., Parsonage Street; 11:40 a.m., Bailies Run and Days Run intersection; noon, West Ninth and Crystal View Drive; 12:20 p.m., Greco’s; and 12:40 p.m., Bellview Street by the municipal building.
Lower Burrell
• Santa Claus will visit the streets of the Kinloch section of the city at 6 p.m. Dec. 15 with the Lower Burrell No. 1 Firemen. The date was moved due to expected inclement weather.
• Cookies with Santa will be from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 18 at Lower Burrell Volunteer Fire Company No. 3, 3255 Leechburg Road. Free. Children can play games, draw a picture at the coloring station and meet Santa Claus. Sponsored by City of Lower Burrell.
Springdale
• A community Christmas carol social will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 18 at Springdale Open Bible Church, 401 Colfax St. Sing along and enjoy some treats and hot cocoa. Details: 724-274-6610.
Tarentum
• Abundant Joy Fellowship, 101 Allegheny St., will present a live Nativity from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 19 at the church. There will be live animals, refreshments and crafts.
Upper Burrell

Washington Township
• Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department will escort Santa Claus through the township beginning at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 18. The route will begin at the firehall, head north through Paulton, then go south and end at Wellington Estates.
West Deer
• Santa will travel through the township with the volunteer fire companies Sunday and Monday. Schedule: Dec. 19 beginning at 4 p.m. through the Cedar Ridge Plan, Grouse Run, Steeplechase, Shoff Farms and Lager Farms. Dec. 20 visits will begin at 6 p.m. and proceed through Fawn Haven No. 2 and 3, Hytyre Farms, Hunt Club, Whispering Pines, Copper Creek, Bairdford and the Links at Deer Run.
West Leechburg
Santa Claus will ride through the borough with the firemen from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 19.
