Allegheny County detectives accused a Harrison man of sexually assaulting a 15 year old after he downed two bloody marys with five shots of vodka in each that he requested the teen make for him.

His lawyer said the accusations being made against his client are not true.

Martin Goetzinger, 45, of Carlisle Street was charged with felony counts of endangering the welfare of children and unlawful contact with a minor along with counts of corruption of a minor and indecent assault.

Goetzinger was released from custody on nonmonetary bond and faces a preliminary hearing on the charges before District Judge Carolyn S. Bengel on Sept. 21, according to court records.

Detectives wrote in a criminal complaint charging Goetzinger that they were contacted by the Allegheny County Department of Children Youth and Families on June 12 to assist with the investigation of an alleged incident that happened in the summer of 2021 in the township’s Natrona Heights section, the complaint said.

Goetzinger’s lawyer, Steve Townsend, said the allegations against his client “are completely false.”

“Eventually, it will come out that these allegations are all untrue,” he said. “Unfortunately, we have to go through this process, however bizarre the allegations may seem. We will vigorously defend Mr. Goetzinger, who is anxious for his day in court.”
