A new shoe store in Allegheny Township will have a grand opening celebration next month.
Shoe Sensation, located in the Hyde Park Plaza, 451 Hyde Park Road, will hold the celebration Sept. 12 to 14, according to the Indiana-based company.
“We’re bringing so much more than just your favorite name brands, we’re bringing the type of friendly, small-town customer service that makes shopping feel personal again,” said CEO Dave Schoengart.
According to Shoe Sensation, opening weekend festivities include a live radio broadcast, food trucks, a ribbon cutting and more. People will have the chance to win a $500 gift card.
Shoe Sensation also plans a $1,000 donation to the Salvation Army.
“We love to celebrate our communities and make them the best they can be. Opening weekend is just a small thank you to the communities we serve, and the festivities wouldn’t be complete without a donation to a local charity,” Schoengart said.
