Funeral arrangements have been set for late Brackenridge police Chief Justin McIntire, who was killed Monday in the line of duty.

The arrangements were confirmed by Ross Walker III, owner of Ross G. Walker Funeral Home in New Kensington.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home, 217 Freeport Road.

A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday in Mount St. Peter Church in New Kensington. Anyone attending the Wednesday service is asked to go directly to the church to provide the family privacy, as noted in McIntire’s published obituary.

Interment, which is private, will follow at Mt. Airy Cemetery in Harrison.

The Fraternal Order of Police will conduct memorial services at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.

Donations for the benefit of McIntire’s family may be made in care of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 39, P.O. Box 2145, Lower Burrell, PA 15068. The check memo should read “for the benefit of Justin McIntire.”
