Feline fans needed: 2 Alle-Kiski cat rescue groups seeking volunteers

Cat Crusaders volunteer Helen Toy of Allegheny Township traps feral and homeless cats in the Alle-Kiski Valley. Toy makes sure the cats are spayed or neutered and then returns them to the outdoors, where they are fed, or places them in foster care.

The Homeless Cat Management Team clinic is located at 207 Allegheny St. in Tarentum. The clinic offers free and low-cost spay and neuter clinics for cats.
