Damaged tractor-trailer hinders traffic on South Leechburg Hill Road

Police direct traffic Tuesday night around a heavily damaged tractor-trailer on South Leechburg Hill Road in Allegheny Township.

First responders and fire crews worked Tuesday night to remove a disabled truck in Allegheny Township from the roadway on South Leechburg Hill Road.

No one was injured, and firefighters were on the scene directing traffic while the tractor-trailer was removed, according to Westmoreland County 911 dispatchers.

The truck was near the Route 56 Bypass. As of 10 p.m. Tuesday, crews were still at the scene.

No further information was immediately available about how the mishap occurred.
