Police from New Kensington, Arnold and Harrison worked with state and county drug agents on an investigation that resulted in criminal charges against 10 people on Friday and the seizure of narcotics, guns and cash, according to authorities.

Westmoreland County District Attorney Nicole Ziccarelli announced that during the Feb. 11 roundup of suspected drug dealers, police confiscated crack cocaine, illegal prescription narcotics, marijuana and guns.

The task force also seized about $20,000 in cash, according to the district attorney.

Eight people face charges in connection with the investigation: Raijon Wilson, Zywon Johnson, Kiara Williams, William Bentz, Rosella Williams, Isiah Williams, Devon Koch and Carlos Cordoba.

Investigators did not release the ages or addresses of the suspects taken into custody or the criminal charges that will be filed against them.

Arrest warrants also were obtained for Randy Cartwright of New Kensington and Kashawn Goldsmith of Natrona Heights, who remain at large, the DA said.

“I thank the brave law enforcement officers who were on the front lines today,” Ziccarelli said in a news release. “We will continue to work together to combat the drug epidemic in Westmoreland County. This of paramount importance to my office and the safety and security of our communities.”
