Armstrong County offers grants for repairs to owner-occupied homes

Armstrong County is offering grants to qualified homeowners for safety-related repairs.

Armstrong County is offering grants for repairs to owner-occupied homes with residents who meet income guidelines and are in need of health and safety related improvements.

Repairs could include electrical upgrades, flooring, windows and doors.

Applications are due at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18.

Residents can get applications from the Armstrong County Department of Planning and Development, 402 Market St., Kittanning, PA 1601. Online applications are available at www.co.armstrong.pa.us Or residents can call at 724-548-3223.

A public lottery will determine the order for eligible application review at 10 a.m., Friday, April 26 in the Armstrong County Board of Commissioners conference room in the Courthouse Administration Building.
