A man was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in North Versailles.
According to the Allegheny County Police, a county 911 dispatcher summoned first responders to the 400 block of Porter Street. They found a man who had been shot in his torso. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man was identified by the Allegheny County medical examiner as Lyndale Irish-Knight, 24, of North Versailles.
Authorities did not indicate if there are any suspects. The circumstances surrounding the shooting were also not immediately clear.
The county police Homicide Unit is investigating.
