Storytime in the park, World Bee Day and more at Bethel Park Public Library
Bethel Park Public Library, located at 5100 W. Library Ave., is open to the public.
Masks are required, high-touch areas including countertops and tables are disinfected daily and hand sanitizer is available throughout the library. Public computers are limited to one hour of use per day. All materials are quarantined for 96 hours before being checked in. Curbside pickup is available.
All library clubs and groups are on pause until further notice.

Poetry and music event
Join the library in council chambers May 15 at noon for a fun afternoon of poetry reading and music. All genres are welcome, original works only.
Storytime in the park
Join the library at 10 a.m. May 18 for stories, songs, flannel board games and more in this early literacy class, which will be live and in person at Simmons Park, weather permitting. For all ages. No registration is necessary.
Bring a blanket to sit on during storytime, and a drink in case you decide to stay and play.
Knitting
Knitters of all skill levels are welcome 6:30-8:30 p.m. May 19 in the library’s Fireplace Room to knit, stitch and talk.
World Bee Day virtual program
Did you know that bees are responsible for one in every three bites of food we eat? Bees are some of the most important creatures on this planet! Celebrate World Bee Day 6:30 p.m. May 20 and find out how you can help bees. We’ll share facts and enjoy activities together. Pick up your program packet prior to this Zoom class. For grades 2-4. Registration required.
