South Hills sees slower rise of coronavirus cases

As the rise of coronavirus cases slows in Allegheny County and across the country, the communities within the South Hills are following the trend.

As of Jan. 20, there have been 1,890 total cases of the novel coronavirus in Baldwin Borough since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. The borough has reported 40 deaths and 6,567 tests have been administered to borough residents.

Since the pandemic began, Whitehall has had 1,308 cases (37 deaths), Jefferson Hills has had 795 cases (17 deaths), Brentwood has had 678 cases (seven deaths), Pleasant Hills has had 616 cases (11 deaths) and Baldwin Township has had 113 cases (one death).
