Program on scams to be held in Pleasant Hills

The Borough of Pleasant Hills will host a Senior Services program “What is a Scam?” from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Jan. 30.

The event, to be held in the Community Room at the Pleasant Hills Borough Building, 410 East Bruceton Road, will teach attendees how to avoid becoming victims of scams and offer steps to take if they have been scammed.

Speakers will include Warren King of the Better Business Bureau and Chief Brian Finnerty of the Pleasant Hills Police Department.

Light refreshments will be served.
