As the rise of coronavirus cases slows in Allegheny County and across the country, the communities within the South Hills are following the trend.

As of Jan. 27, there have been 1,951 total cases of the novel coronavirus in Baldwin Borough since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. The borough has reported 40 deaths and 6,683 tests have been administered to borough residents.

Since the pandemic began, Whitehall has had 1,346 cases (37 deaths), Jefferson Hills has had 819 cases (17 deaths), Brentwood has had 697 cases (seven deaths), Pleasant Hills has had 654 cases (11 deaths) and Baldwin Township has had 117 cases (one death).
