Brentwood hires Stephanie DeLuca as coordinator of curriculum

Brentwood Borough School District hired Stephanie DeLuca for the position of coordinator of curriculum, instruction and professional development at the May 17 school board meeting.

DeLuca is currently serving as the assistant to the superintendent for elementary education in South Fayette School District. She acquired a well-rounded educational portfolio with her work at the Abington Heights School District and the Environmental Charter School. DeLuca’s background in visible thinking, human-centered design and habits of mind continue to shape her skills in curriculum development.

In addition to her passion for curriculum and instruction, she has also participated in, helped plan and presented at various local, state, and national conferences including but not limited to the Project Zero Perspectives Conference, Pennsylvania Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development Conference, and International Society for Technology Education Conference.

DeLuca is expecting to transition to Brentwood for the 2021-2022 school year.
