A man with multiple gunshot wounds was dropped off at a hospital as Pittsburgh police were investigating a shots fired call in the Hill District early Saturday morning, according to Pittsburgh Public Safety.

Officers went to the 2400 block of Webster Avenue around 2 a.m. for reports of 10 shots fired. Officers found a crime scene outside on the street.

While officers were canvassing that area, they were notified that a 29-year-old man was dropped off at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds to his arms, legs and torso, police said.

The man was taken into surgery and was last listed in critical condition, police said.

Detectives were investigating.
