Sheriff's office arrests fugitive in Wilkinsburg, authorities say
Detectives from the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office on Friday arrested a Wilkinsburg man who they said was wanted on multiple warrants.
Michael Lyons, 32, had been a fugitive since November 2022, when Common Pleas Judge Edward Borkowski issued a bench warrant for Lyons for violating terms of his 10-year probation, Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus said.
Lyons previously was convicted of conspiracy to commit third-degree murder, Kraus said.
Lyons also was wanted on charges of simple assault and firearms violations on one arrest warrant and aggravated assault on a second one, Kraus said.
Detectives learned this week that Lyons was inside a Campbell Street home in Wilkinsburg, Kraus said. They arrested Lyons there Friday morning without incident and took him to Allegheny County Jail.
