A Pittsburgh man has been arrested in connection with September shooting that injured a toddler in the city’s Sheraden neighborhood.

Derrick Brandon faces charges of reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child after police say he was involved in a Sept. 26, 2021, shooting on Glasgow Street that left a toddler in critical condition.

The toddler’s condition was later upgraded to stable.

Brandon, 32, of Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood, was arrested by Pittsburgh Police narcotics detectives and taken to Allegheny County Jail. A preliminary hearing date has not yet been set.
