Members of the Village Garden Club of Sewickley gathered at a home in Edgeworth on Nov. 18 to make holiday ornaments for the upcoming Greens and Goodies sale.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 6 at The Henning House at 327 Broad St. in Sewickley.
The sale will feature fresh greens arrangements, live plants, centerpieces, ornaments and frozen homemade soups and boxed cookie assortments ready for gifting or stocking up for the holidays. Members have been meeting to use their floral arranging and creative talents to create items.
Free parking is available at nearby St. Stephen’s Anglican Church and on the street.
The event is free.
Proceeds from the sale will support the club’s community projects including the upkeep of the plantings and fountain at the Sewickley Public Library and the Partners for Plants project at Linbrook Park, in Franklin Park.
