Sewickley Public Library recently launched a new initiative to feed people’s minds as well as their stomachs.

People can find a different food truck parked outside of 500 Thorn St. every Thursday this summer from 4-7 p.m.

Richelle Klug, the library head of communications, said Food Truck Thursdays also feature a host of yard games, crafts and other picnic activities so families can enjoy an evening at the library.

“It’s a great way to encourage people who aren’t familiar with our library to stop by and see what we offer,” Klug said.

The last one is planned for Aug. 8.

A list of food trucks and their expected dates is posted on the library’s website, sewickleylibrary.org.
