Quaker Valley High School drama club will present “The Man Who Came to Dinner.”

Shows are 7 p.m. Nov. 9-10 and two Nov. 11 shows, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., all at 625 Beaver St.

The story is set in Ohio and features a man named Sheridan Whiteside, played by Emme Leghorn, who breaks his hip on the doorstep of a prominent family, the Stanleys, and becomes an unexpected house guest.

He wreaks havoc on everyone and everything while in this state, including making brash proclamations and offering unsolicited advice to family members.

His secretary, Maggie Cutler, played by Anna Dusch, falls in love with a journalist named Bert Jefferson, played by Cameron Wood. Whiteside interferes with the romance.
