Where to buy liquor legally in Pennsylvania
With state liquor stores open on a limited basis and the Liquor Control Board’s online service working slowly, Pennsylvanians in search of booze have been driving over state lines to shop.
It is possible to buy Pennsylvania-made liquor, legally. Below is a list of distilleries operating online that will ship to your home.
For retail service, there is Pennsylvania Libations at 2101 Penn Ave. in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Founded by Ligonier native Christian Simmons, the store offers a wide selection of Pennsylvania liquors and wine. Online orders receive next-day home delivery in Allegheny County and Westmoreland County.
The retail store is open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. Customers can order online for pickup or order from menus posted outside the store.
Here is a list of venues. It also includes wineries and craft beer makers in the region. Have a tip for a tipple? Send additions to tdavidson@triblive.com.
