Events in the region that are canceled, postponed or rescheduled because of the expected inclement weather this weekend:

Saturday and Sunday

•In Fox Chapel, the borough recycling bins for residents will be closed.

Sunday

• In Indiana, a meeting to discuss the proposed artificial intelligence data center for Homer City has been rescheduled. The new date for the event, hosted by Concerned Residents of Western Pennsylvania, is now set for Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. at The Indiana Theater, 637 Philadelphia St.

• Community Supermarket in Lower Burrell and Penn Hills will be closed on Sunday. They expect to reopen at 7 a.m. Monday.

• In Greensburg and Murrysville, the Shop ‘n Save stores on East Pittsburgh Street, Route 66 and Route 22, all owned by Charley Brothers, will be closed.

• In Brackenridge, the monthly Sons of the American Legion breakfast is canceled. The next breakfast will be Feb. 22 at the post, 845 First Ave.

• In Buffalo Township, the spaghetti dinner scheduled at the White Star Club is postponed to Feb. 1 at the club, 401 Shuster Drive.

• In Indiana Township, the spaghetti dinner planned at Rural Ridge Volunteer Fire Company is canceled.

• In Lower Burrell, the spaghetti dinner dinner at the Moose is canceled.

• The Greensburg YMCA will be closed.

• In Plum, the Sampson Family YMCA will be closed and will reopen at 10 a.m. Monday.

The First Presbyterian Church of Greensburg is cancelling its in-person service on Sunday morning. A pre-recorded service will be broadcast for parishioners.

Monday

• In Upper Burrell, a public meeting to update residents on the data center planned at the former Arconic site is postponed. A new date has not been set.

• In Hempfield, a preschool expo at the Westmoreland Intermediate Unit has been postponed. A new date and time will be announced later.

• In Hempfield, the Hempfield Area School Board meeting that was to be held Monday has been rescheduled until 7 p.m. Tuesday. The school directors meet in the administration building on the high school campus, 4347 Route 136.

In Tarentum, the weekly food pantry at Streetlight Ministries is canceled.
