A Uniontown man was killed in a motorcycle crash Sunday in Somerset County, according to state police.

David P. Schubert, 64, was driving a Harley-Davidson Dyna on Listonburg Road in Confluence at 5:44 p.m. when he hit a guiderail at a bend in the road. Troopers said Schubert did not brake or take any evasive action before hitting the guiderail.

Schubert was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
