Summer bluegrass festival will benefit Fayette fire company

The Springfield Township Volunteer Hose Company will benefit from a full day of pickin’ and grinnin’ this summer in Fayette County.

“Bluegrass at Jellystone” will run from noon to 10 p.m., June 29 at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp Resort in Mill Run, near Ohiopyle.

It will feature music by the Allegheny Drifters, Black Diamond, Hickory Bottom and Copper Watch.

The concert is presented by the Bullskin Opry, which hosts a monthly bluegrass showcase in Mt. Pleasant on the first Saturday of the month.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the concert. Camping is available upon request by calling 724-455-2929.
