The Sheetz store on Freeport Street in New Kensington on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.

It looks like the great Sheetz-Wawa rivalry has entered a new chapter.

In a tweet Thursday, the Altoona-based convenience store chain seemed to call a stop to online arguing about which store is the best.

Sheetz went on to call Wawa “cool,” while also complimenting Quik Trip, Pilot Flying J and others.

The message caught the eye of Lt. Governor John Fetterman, who weighed in as well.

Sheetz did not mention GetGo in the tweet and seemed to continue its feud with 7-Eleven by mentioning the chain, but offering no compliment, like it had the others.
