A 39-year-old woman is accused of stabbing another woman during a robbery Tuesday near a Butler convenience store, police said.
Police Chief Bob O’Neill said Danielle Kline of Butler turned herself in about 1 p.m. Wednesday on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and robbery.
O’Neill said police were dispatched to the area the 500 block of West Jefferson Street at 3:35 p.m. to investigate a robbery.
When police arrived, O’Neill said they found a 39-year-old woman who was being treated by paramedics from Butler Ambulance Service for a stab wound to the left side of her abdomen.
O’Neill reported the victim told investigators that Kline stabbed her near the 7-Eleven at 400 West Jefferson St. and fled with $80.
According to a police, Kline dropped her purse containing identification at the scene during the altercation.
The woman was taken by ambulance to UPMC Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment.
