Two men died Friday afternoon in an apparent murder-suicide, according to state police at Uniontown.

The victims were identified as Brian Coll, 55, who was found about 3 p.m. with multiple gunshot wounds at the scene of the shooting along Atlas Road, and Craig Rishel, who was found later in his vehicle with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI.

Autopsies will be conducted today on the two men, Fayette County Coroner Dr. Phillip Reilly said Saturday morning. The coroner did not have addresses for the two men.

Police allege that Rishel was angry at Coll because he was in a relationship with Rishel’s ex-wife.

Coll was shot in the parking lot at the George R. Smalley Co., an electrical contractor where Coll worked. The shooter fled the scene before troopers arrived.

Police said Rishel attempted to enter the business where Rishel’s ex-wife also worked. He was unable to enter the business and left.

Witnesses at the scene identified the suspect as Rishel.

Police said they found Rishel dead in his vehicle, along with two firearms and multiple handwritten notes explaining his actions. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
