A person was flown by medical helicopter Wednesday evening after being hit by a train in Washington County.
According to Tribune-Review news partners WPXI-TV, the person was hit by a Norfolk Southern train around 6:45 p.m. near Lincoln Street in Elco Borough.
The person, who was not identified, was taken to a Pittsburgh area hospital.
Information on the person’s condition was not immediately available.
