Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation and Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream announces the launch of ‘Oh, Baby!’, a new flavor collaboration developed to celebrate Mother’s Day and benefit women’s health research and patient care initiatives at Magee-Womens.

Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream has unveiled a new flavor just in time for Mother’s Day.

Partnering with Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation, a portion of sales from the “Oh, Baby!” flavor will fund women’s health research. This collaboration celebrates motherhood and highlights the need for advancements in women’s healthcare.

It can also be found at local Giant Eagle Market District locations.

The purple vanilla ice cream includes bits of frosted birthday cake and rainbow sprinkles, and it comes in a purple container with a white lid.

A portion of sales from scoops, pints and buckets of “Oh, Baby!” will be donated by Millie’s to support the Women’s Health Impact Fund at Magee-Womens.

“This collaboration is such a fun and delicious way to raise awareness of the critical need for women’s health research, and to celebrate all the new moms and babies that we will welcome at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital this month,” said Michael Annichine, CEO and president of Magee-Womens Research Institute & Foundation.

Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream, which was founded by Chad and Lauren Townsend in 2014, now has 10 locations in the Pittsburgh region. Its production facility is in Homestead.
