CNN has released footage that shows civilians spotting a gunman on the roof of a building before the shooting at a campaign rally for former President Donald Trump in Butler County.

As seen in the video, Trump rally attendees noticed the gunman on the roof, and it shows what appears to be at least one law enforcement officer walking around the building, CNN reported.

“Officer, officer,” one attendee shouted. “He’s on the roof. Right here. He’s standing up now.”

The U.S. Secret Service did not sweep the building where the suspect shot at Trump, a spokesperson told CNN.

One man, Corey Comperatore, 50, of Buffalo Township, was killed and two others were injured. Trump was grazed by a bullet and suffered a wound to his ear.

The suspected gunman, Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, was shot and killed by authorities.
