A tractor-trailer became stuck at Painters Run Road and Robb Hollow Road in Upper St. Clair early Wednesday morning.

Upper St. Clair road closed after tractor-trailer becomes stuck

Painters Run Road in Allegheny County was shut down Wednesday morning after a tractor-trailer became stuck trying to make a tight turn.

The incident happened near the intersection between Painters Run and Robb Hollow roads in Upper St. Clair. Public safety recommends that commuters find a detour around the incident.

There is no known timeline for how long it will take to remove the vehicle.


State police seek suspect in Beaver County armed robbery

Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a suspect accused of stealing a shotgun and cash from a store in Hookstown Borough, Beaver County.

Just before 10 p.m. Monday, a man wearing a black mask, black clothing and carrying a green bookbag entered Johnston Market on Pine Street, police said. He threatened an employee with a knife and demanded all the store’s cash, according to a report.

The employee was not injured during the robbery.

Police said the suspect stole around $1,500 and a shotgun located near the cash register.

Police locate missing 14-year-old girl

Pittsburgh police have located a 14-year-old girl who had been reported missing on Tuesday.

Candae Young had last been seen Tuesday afternoon in the area of Bracey Drive in the East Hills. According to police, she was safely located overnight.
