Man stabbed in fight in Wilkins Township Shop ‘n Save
A 42-year-old man was stabbed multiple times during a fight in the Shop ‘n Save in the 3000 block of William Penn Highway in Wilkins Township Wednesday, Allegheny County Police said.
He was taken to a hospital in stable condition around 8 p.m. last night.
A 41-year-old man was taken into custody by Wilkins Township Police. Police said he and the man who was stabbed were “engaged in a physical fight inside the store.”
Homicide detectives are investigating, and will be consulting with the Allegheny County District Attorney’s office about charges in the case.

State police seek thieves who racked up $6,000 in charges on stolen credit card
Pennsylvania State Police are looking for three people accused of stealing a wallet and charging thousands of dollars in fraudulent Walmart purchases in Hempfield Township in August.
According to a Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office report, troopers said the wallet was stolen from inside the Hempfield Township Sam’s Club on August 12, 2023.
The credit card was then used at a nearby Walmart store to make $6,081.50 in purchases. As the suspect made the purchases, another man and woman distracted employees.
State police are asking anyone with information about the theft or the people captured in the surveillance images to call the Greensburg barracks at 724-832-3288.
