Johnstown woman arrested with 260 ecstasy pills

A 25 year-old Johnstown woman was arrested on multiple drug charges Thursday night after state police discovered 260 Ecstasy pills in her purse during a traffic stop near the intersection of State Routes 56 and 711 in East Wheatfield, Indiana County.

State police from Indiana said Kaitlyn Marie Krise, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and providing false identification to law enforcement, following at traffic stop shortly after 7:20 p.m.

Authorities said they stopped the Ford Taurus in which she was a passenger after noticing it had an expired registration.

Police searched the car after noticing an odor of burnt marijuana they said was coming from the front passenger compartment, where Krise, who had provided a false identification, was sitting.

Krise was lodged in the Indiana County Jail, pending arraignment.
