Firefighters battle blaze at vacant house in Uniontown

Nobody was hurt as firefighters battled a blaze in a vacant house in Uniontown early Monday morning, according to Fayette County 911.

Dispatchers said the fire at 22 Millview St. started just before 1 a.m.

It took the Uniontown City Fire Department and others about two hours to extinguish the blaze and secure the scene, according to 911.

Details about the cause of the fire and extent of the damage were not immediately available.
