Eat’n Park drops grilled stickies from menu — for now

A classic dessert at Eat ’n Park restaurants is off the menu — for now.
Spokeswoman Courtney Caprara confirmed that grilled stickies are no longer available after the closure of a bakery partner. The cinnamon bun-like dessert, topped with a sticky sauce and scoop of vanilla ice cream, has been around for decades at the family-owned restaurant chain.
“We are grateful to be reminded of how many of our items are a staple for our brand fans and that so many Pittsburghers love grilled stickies as much as we do,” Caprara said.
The bakery partner’s closure forced the restaurant to look for replacement options while pausing the offering of the item, she said. Caprara hinted that grilled stickies may return to the menu at the chain’s locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia at some point.
In the meantime, Turner Dairy Farms has created a new flavor of milk — Grilled Stickies A La Mode — that may satisfy a hankering for the Eat ’n Park classic. It’s a limited edition flavor, according to a post on the farm’s Facebook page.
