Authorities say a man shot and killed his estranged wife and then himself in a Pennsylvania movie theater parking lot.

Dauphin County officials said police were called to the Regal Cinemas in Susquehanna Township at about 8:45 p.m. Monday and found a man and woman dead on the ground from apparent gunshot wounds.

District Attorney Fran Chardo said 50-year-old Julian Kearn and 40-year-old Kelly Kearn arrived in separate vehicles, and at some point the man shot the woman and then himself.

Township police described his actions as premeditated, saying Julian Kearn indicated on social media that “he was going to go out on his own terms.”

The movie theater was open at the time but no one else was injured.
