$9,000 in ski gear stolen near Seven Springs resort

An Upper St. Clair man lost more than $9,000 worth of skis, bindings and poles when someone broke into a locked locker inside a storage unit near the Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Somerset County, state police said.

The theft of six men’s skis and bindings worth $5,400; three women’s skis and bindings worth $2,150; and various ski poles worth $1,500, occurred sometime between March 1 and Dec. 21 along Stoneridge Drive in Middlecreek Township, police said.
