A fire broke out in a Beaver County apartment building late Tuesday, displacing six people and two cats.

When firefighters arrived at the building on Riverview Street in Rochester, they saw flames coming from a third-floor window, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.

Rochester Fire Chief Mike Mamone told WPXI-TV the fire started in the living room of an apartment.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced people, the station said.
