Authorities attend the scene of a crash in Findlay Township early Friday morning. Four people were injured.

A large crash early Friday morning in Findlay Township left four people hurt.

Several vehicles and a bus were involved in a crash around 4:30 a.m. on the Flaugherty Run Road exit ramp to Clinton Road, according to TribLive news partner WTAE.

Four people were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released, WTAE reported.

Frigid temperatures and scattered snowfall overnight have left Pittsburgh-area roads slick Friday morning.

Southwestern Pennsylvania has already reported three vehicle crashes as of 6 a.m. Friday morning due to icy conditions.

A single vehicle crashed on the inbound lane of Parkway East near Bates Street.

Another single vehicle crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Route 28 at the Millvale exit. That led to a temporary one-lane restriction.

WTAE meteorologist Ashley Dougherty reported that some parts of the Pittsburgh region saw about an inch of snow overnight, contributing to the roads icy conditions.

Temperatures, which hovered in the low 20s Friday morning, are expected to warm up into the low 30s by afternoon. The weekend will see temperatures rise above freezing.
