A Pennsylvania Lottery player beat the odds in Beaver County this week, winning $3 million on a $30 scratch-off ticket.

The odds of winning the grand prize in the Pennsylvania Lottery’s $3 Million Extravaganza scratch-off game are 1 in 1.44 million.

The lucky ticket was sold at Caivano’s Discount Tobacco Outlet in Hopewell, which will receive a $10,000 bonus from the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The winner has one year to claim the prize by signing the back of the ticket and calling the lottery.

This is the largest lottery win in the state since October, when a Montgomery County Rite Aid sold a grand prize winner in the $3 Million Limited scratch-off game.

Four grand prizes remain in the $3 Million Extravaganza game.
