Another election is in the books in Western Pennsylvania. Even if all the votes in those books aren’t yet counted.

Voters coming out to decide between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump for president drove a high turnout at the polls.

Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate seat was also on the ballot with incumbent Bob Casey trying to fend off Republican challenger Dave McCormick.

Several U.S. House seats were also on the ballot. And state offices (state treasurer, attorney general and auditor general) were also in play.

Cambria County polls remained open until 10 p.m. Tuesday because of an issue with scanning machines.

U.S. Senate

Casey, McCormick locked in tight contest for Pa.’s U.S. Senate race

Republican David McCormick held a slight edge over Democratic incumbent U.S. Sen. Bob Casey early Wednesday morning, but the rivals remain locked in a tight battle, and the race for the hotly contested seat remained up for grabs.

U.S. House, 12th District

Lee declared winner; will return to Washington D.C. in 12th Congressional District

Summer Lee is on her way to a second term in Washington D.C. The Associated Press declared the incumbent Democrat as the winner shortly after polls closed. She represents Pennsylvania’s 12th District.

U.S. House, 14th District

Reschenthaler heads to landslide win to retain U.S. House seat

Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler is expected to win a fourth term in Congress as vote totals continue to be tallied Tuesday night.

U.S. House, 17th District

AP: Deluzio defeats Mercuri in 17th District race

Democratic U.S. Rep. Chris Deluzio defeated challenger Rob Mercuri, a Republican state representative, in a key congressional district that could be crucial to determining which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives.

State offices

Republicans sweep races for Pennsylvania row offices

Republican candidates, including two incumbents, swept all three of Pennsylvania’s row offices.

AP: Republican Dave Sunday wins state AG race

Voters have selected York County District Attorney Dave Sunday, a Republican, to be the state’s next prosecutor, according to a vote-tally early Wednesday from the Associated Press.

Pa. Senate, 45th District

Democrat Pisciottano defeats Republican Dintini to replace retiring Brewster in state Senate

A Democratic member of the Pennsylvania State House will replace the retiring Jim Brewster as a state senator representing the 45th District.

Pa. House, 25th District

Markosek wins reelection in 25th District House race

With 100% of precincts reporting, Democrat incumbent Brandon Markosek will retain his seat in Pennsylvania’s House of Representatives.

Pa. House, 33rd District

Democratic incumbent Mandy Steele captures 2nd term in state House

Fox Chapel Democrat Mandy Steele has won a second term representing the 33rd state House District in Harrisburg.

Pa. House, 44th District

Unofficial results: Republican Gaydos set for re-election in the state House 44th District

Republican state Rep. Valerie Gaydos is set to serve a fourth term as representative from Pennsylvania’s 44th House District, unofficial results show. Gaydos and her opponent, Democrat Hadley Haas, both came into the general election out of uncontested primaries.

Pa. House, 55th District

Incumbent Jill Cooper retains seat in Westmoreland state House race

Incumbent Republican Jill Cooper will retain her seat in the state House. With more than 38,000 votes cast, Cooper beat out Democratic challenger Davon Magwood, 67% to 32%, in the 55th District race in northern Westmoreland County.

Pa. House, 59th District

Rep. Leslie Rossi defeats Democrat Margie Zelenak in 59th District

With all of the results in, Republican State Rep. Leslie Rossi retained her seat in Pennsylvania’s 59th District with nearly 70% of the vote, according to unofficial election results. She defeated Democrat Margie Zelenak.
