1 killed in Fayette County stabbing
A 24-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning in a stabbing in Grindstone, Fayette County.
According to TribLive news partner WTAE, the incident happened around 12:20 a.m. along Hilltop Avenue in Grindstone.
Pennsylvania State Police told WTAE the victim, Shawn Hriscisce, was stabbed after some sort of altercation. He was found on a porch and was dead at the scene from his injuries. Hriscisce and the person who stabbed him knew each other, police said.
Trooper Kaylee Barnhart told the station there is no threat to the public, and confirmed that state police are investigating the incident.
It was not immediately known if anyone else had been hurt, and as of early Thursday morning, no arrests had been announced.
