Police: Man shot inside East Hills home, suspect arrested
A man was arrested by Pittsburgh police this morning at the scene of a shooting inside a home in the city’s East Hills section.
Officers from the Zone 5 station responded to a 911 call at about 4:20 a.m. from a many who said he had been shot inside his home in the 8200 block of Bricelyn Street, according to a police spokeswoman.
When officers arrived they found the man along with several other people in the home. The victim had a gunshot wound to the knee, police said. He was in stable condition when he was transported to a hospital by medics.
Investigators said several firearms were recovered from inside the home. One man was arrested at the scene and taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
The names of the victim and the man who was arrested were not released by police.
