Police: Missing Pittsburgh man found safe

Updated: Lampkin has been found and is safe, according to Pittsburgh police.


Pittsburgh police are searching for a 75-year-old man last seen Sunday in the city’s Carrick neighborhood, authorities said.

Leslie Lampkin was last seen wearing black pants, dress shoes and a brown plaid blazer, according to police. He was also wearing a woman’s work badge.

Lampkin, who police said is known to frequent Downtown, the North Side and Homewood, is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall, around 105 pounds and has scruffy facial hair and brown eyes. They said he carries a small brown hand bag.

Anyone with information is asked to contact missing persons detectives at 412-323-7141.
