Pittsburgh man wanted for shooting in West End arrested in NYC
A Pittsburgh man who was wanted in connection with a shooting in the West End was arrested early Tuesday morning in New York City.
Richard Worley was wanted for shooting a woman in the hand and leg at Wabash Street and Sawmill Run Boulevard on Aug. 20. The woman was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Worley is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm while prohibited, carrying a firearm without a license, and recklessly endangering another person.
He was taken into custody by Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit detectives and the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, working with the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force.
