An arrest warrant was issued for a man who reportedly led state troopers on a chase and then crashed in Moon.

Police said Ryan Chapman, 30, of Pittsburgh, was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries.

Chapman fled from police in a Chevrolet Camaro on Ewing Road and Business Loop 376 westbound at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at high rate of speed, according to a news release. Troopers terminated the pursuit and shortly after found that Chapman had crashed on University Boulevard in the area of Stoops Ferry Road.

He was charged Saturday with fleeing from police and several summary vehicle code violations, including overtaking a vehicle on the left. An arraignment had not been scheduled.
