Pittsburgh will close one lane of Centre Avenue between Morewood Avenue and Cypress near UPMC’s Shadyside Hospital starting on Friday and continuing through Monday evening, according to the city’s Department of Mobility and Infrastructure.

The closure is needed to put up a tower crane for a development project.

Port Authority of Allegheny County buses and motor vehicle traffic will be detoured with clearly marked signs. The street will reopen at 6 p.m. Monday.
